Birdsmouth up to 1-1/16 in. Stock 1/2 in. Shank Carbide Tipped Router Bit

This Birds mouth Router bit will cut stock up to 1-1/16 in. thick to make 16 sided objects. The shank is 1/2 in. Construct various sized chests and cases with 6, 8, 12 or 16 sides. Easier and stronger than mitered joints because these joints self align and provide lots of gluing surface. Also, only 1 edge of the stock needs to be routed in order for the joint to work. Careful yet easy setup is essential.
