This bit cuts a 45 chamfer bevel up to 1/2 in. H and can be used to add a clean bevel design to your workpiece edge or create a 90 m joint. 1/4 in. shank. While chamfer bits are mostly used for edging, these bits can also be used to create miter joints of various angles. Some of the available angle are 11.25°, 15°, 22.5°, 30° and 45°. Cutting these angles into 2 adjoining pieces of wood will create miter joints of 22.5°, 30°, 45°, 60° and 90° respectively.
